Product Manager Payments responsibilities are:

  • Researching the best solutions on the payments market.

  • Optimization of the conversion rates related to online payments

  • Automating payment processes. Product Manager Payments can automate recurring payments, single-click payments and the very process of accepting payments on the website.

  • Translate customer and internal-user needs into clear, well-defined functional and technical requirements backed by data analysis and deep understanding of the payments landscape.

  • Oversee the development and management of real-time systems to record revenue and costs

  • Work closely with security and risk specialists in order to ensure that your products are secure and compliant

Product Manager Payments requirements are:

  • 3+ years of product management, analytics or development experience of payments in tech company

  • A mix of great technical depth, principled thinking and well-honed product judgment

  • Have strong business acumen, supply chain mindset and B2B product experience

  • A creative product thinker who loves collaborating across the company with engineering, growth, business development, marketing, design, Data, Sales, customer success, etc. We design our space to encourage as much collaboration as possible!

  • Extreme attention to detail, concisely communicates complex concepts, and is equally excited about 99.9999% reliability and financial correctness as well as beautiful product UX and API design

  • Have experience managing technical software products from kick-off to ship

  • You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Bonus points if you’ve worked at a rapidly growing startup

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and a very quickly changing environment

  • Super-structured way of thinking; able to translate ‘abstract’ or ‘open-ended’ business goals/concepts into actionable initiatives

  • Business-metrics-savvy; key understand of business metrics, how metrics interact with other metrics, and levers behind it

  • Having leadership experience because you will be the point person for an entire product area. You will be responsible for continually evolving and representing your defined strategies and initiatives

  • Beyond just shipping new products, you obsess about continuous product improvement and can optimize for shipping a portfolio of small, medium and large releases

  • Experience in iterative, agile software delivery, short release cycles
